Review of La Tragdie de Carmen, The Olney Theatre

Soprano and Bethesda native Sarah Long nearly stole the show in her brief moments as the tenderhearted Micaela, Don Joses discarded fiance. Her signature Act III aria, Je dis que rien ne mՎpouvante was a marvel of control, alternating bravery with fear, and convincing high notes with a mellow midrange.

Review of The Consul, Bronx Opera

Of particular note among the supporting players were Scott Williamson as Nika Magadoff and Sarah Long as the Italian Woman...  Longs Italian Woman inspired genuine compassion.
